finally someone from my family members getting married :D I felt excited and followed the cousin to make up for my baby alphard, was chit chatting with the cousin about his wedding and we were having lunch together. tehee. went to cousin's place that night, everyone was excited and getting drunk as well. so it was kinda late when we were back home and HAD TO WAKE UP AT 5AM TO GET READY! so, did went off to sleep a bit late around 2-2.30am. the alarm rang at 4.30am and i snooze it but it didnt rang after that. then, cousin called, IT WAS 5.30AM, fml, late again as usual but luckily we were there on time to go pick up the bride. so, i guess you guys are scratching your head thinking why the heck do we have to pick the bride so early! it's because cousin in law is from Tangkak! so we drove all the way from KL to Tangkak. reached the bride's place and as usual the "heng dais" (groomsmen) had to "jip jiu" (help the bridegroom to fulfil requests from the bride) lol. then the cousin and his heng dais had to dance the gangnam style dance moves to get to the bride. so it's like playing games to save the bride. LOL. then, after "saving" the bride, we had to drive all the way from Tangkak to KL again. so, once we reached KL, the ceremony begins. the chinese tradition where a newly married pair had to bow and pay respects to the Heaven and Earth, ancestors, parents, elderly and spouse. Then, they had to "jing cha" (something like the new pairs had to pass them the tea to the parents and elderly) and when it's done, they had to give angpaus to the younger ones :D which is also my fav part of the day. ngek. it's about blessings not money. shh. lol. then the ceremony ended and took some big family pictures after that. WEDDING DINNER WOULD BE ON NEXT SATURDAY! EXCITED! :D
